About
my work
We all experience moments in life when we feel down, confused, or lost. We begin to question how we ended up here—unsure if we even recognize ourselves or our relationships. We may even doubt whether we have the tools to find our way out. Strategies that once worked seem to fall short, leaving us back where we started or feeling even more alone. It makes sense that you're ready for change and seeking a compassionate guide to help you through it.
Therapy offers a safe space to rediscover clarity, curiosity, confidence, and compassion for yourself and others. I believe every individual, no matter their story, has the potential to move toward hope, healing, and restoration. Together, we’ll begin where you are, and step by step, move toward the growth you’re seeking.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and safely held in your pain. I approach therapy with compassion and curiosity, building a trusting relationship so we can collaboratively explore what resonates most with you. I believe understanding your full context—including the influences and experiences that have shaped you—is essential for meaningful change. While insight is valuable, real-world transformation takes practice, and my goal is to help you experience that change both in the therapy room and beyond.
I particularly enjoy supporting individuals and couples preparing for marriage or navigating difficult relationship challenges. I also connect well with teens facing high-stress situations, young adults in life transitions, and those managing the complexities of motherhood.
My background as a professional ballet dancer and my experience as a working mother give me unique insight into high-stress environments. This helps me address issues like perfectionism, self-worth, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I hold a BA in Psychology with Interdisciplinary Honors from the University of Washington and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. My two-year internship at CH Counseling Services in Monroe, WA, laid a strong foundation for my private practice work. I am IFS-informed, Level I trained in Restoration Therapy (RT), and a certified facilitator in the Prepare and Enrich premarital program. My approach integrates techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Experiential Family Therapy, and Restoration Therapy (RT) to foster growth and transformation.
Outside of my practice, I balance my career with the joys of being a wife and mother of two. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I enjoy spending time outdoors—whether it’s on Lake Washington in the summer or skiing in the mountains during snow season.
